Hypocrite?

I know this sounds strange ... but I would encourage everyone to watch the CBS evening news over the next few days.

Rumor has it that CBS needs to increase ratings for their Evening News, so Katie is going topless!

And now for your CFB update...

LSU... I can see why they were ranked #2 in the preseason polls. They had 14 of 22 starting returning, with 8 of 11 on defense. LSU won 45-0. They simply had better athletes on the field, but especially on the defense and special teams. LSU absolutely swarmed Miss St based on team speed. Plus, it didn't hurt to pick off 6 picks and force two fumbles (1 recovered). Matt Flynn (won the Peach Bowl in 2005) didn't look spectactular, but wasnt bad either. He likes to run the ball, something Russell wasn't inclined to do. The LSU offense seemed some what "vanilla"... they ran the ball up the middle a lot, and didn't show much of their playbook. I wonder if that is because they will be playing #9 Va Tech next wkd.

Navy... Watched the first half last night before the beers took me out. They looked against Temple, but Rutgers should be a much better test next week. Final score, 30-19. They actually tried to toss the ball around a bit. First offensive play of the game... incomlete pass. But the third play on 3rd and long was a 37-yd completion.

Cal (12) vs. Tenn (15) today!

Something I forgot to mention... Navy's playing a traditional 3-4 with a 285lb NG... WTF??? I'd like to see him fit through a scuttle. Then the announcers were talking about how he has a good chance to go to the NFL... things that make you go hmmmmm....
